OHIO STATE EAGLES RECREATION PARK
RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

CAMPSITES

1.   The occupancy of each site is based on one camping unit, 2 adults and your children under the age of 18. Children 18 and over not living at home must pay a fee of $2.00 per day to Visit.

 2.   Extra tents on your campsite must fill out a registration and pay a camping fee.

 3.   Limit of 2 vehicles per lot (LOT OWNERS VEHICLES ONLY), visitors must park in a lot at the front of the camp.

 4.   LOTS ARE TO BE KEPT CLEAN AND TIDY

 5.   Campfires in fire rings only.   Please dispose of the ashes in dumpsters and not in the woods.

 6.   Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and all visitors on their lot.

 7.   No outside refrigerators or any other items that  are not camping related. Any optional refrigerators or freezers will pay a fee of $100 for each item. (NO ELECTRIC HEATERS)

 8.   Children under the age of 18 must be at their campsite by 10:00 PM unless accompanied by a parent.

 9   Health Dept regulations do not permit dumping gray water on the ground or in open containers.

 10.  Sewer valves must be closed and capped or have blue tanks hooked at all times.

 11.  PLEASE HELP US CONSERVE.  TURN YOUR OUTSIDE LIGHTS OFF BY 2:00AM AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT CAMPING.

 12.  DO NOT LEAVE AIR CONDITIONERS ON WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE.

 13.  No cutting of trees without permission of the manager.

 14.  Firewood must be stacked neatly at your campsite.

 15.  Please respect your neighbors and observe quiet hours from midnight till 7:00AM.   YOU WILL ONLY BE WARNED ONCE.

 16.  NO GUNS OR FIREWORKS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS.

 VEHICLE RULES

1.  Speed limit in the campgrounds is 10 MPH at all times

2.   Mini bikes, go carts, and ATV"s are not allowed on the grounds, Golf carts only.

3.   Golf carts must be in safe condition with lights, mufflers, and good tires and must be registered with the office and have proof of insurance.

4.   NO PARKING ON EMPTY LOTS.

5.   You must have a drivers license to drive a golf cart or a learners permit and be accompanied by an adult.

PETS

1.   ALL PETS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES.  We do not allow, Pit Bulls, Rottweiler, or Doberman Pinschers in the Park.

2.   If your pet puts it down you clean it up.

3.   Pets are not allowed on the beach.

4.   Pets are not allowed to swim in the ponds.

5.   Do not leave a pet unattended at your campsite.

6.   If your pet bites or scratches ANYONE any medical bills or any other bills are the pet owners responsibility.

7.   All pets must be registered and have proof of rabies shot.

BEVERAGES

1.   Under age drinking is not permitted on the campgrounds anywhere.

2.   Anyone allowing underage drinking will be asked to leave and will not be given a refund or be allowed to return.

3.   Anyone in an intoxicated condition whose conduct becomes offensive to others will be removed from the park.

SWIMMING

1.   Swimming at your own risk.   Absolutely no swimming after dark.

2.   No diving allowed.

3.   All children swimming or playing near the water must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

4.   No glass containers allowed on the beach.

PONDS

1.   No removing of frogs from the ponds.

2.   No throwing stones or anything at any kind of animals or into the ponds.

3.   No one under the age of nine is allowed to fish unless accompanied by an adult.

4.   Minnows are not allowed to be used as bait.

5.   There is a catch and release policy for all fish except bluegills.

6.   Please no fishing in the swimming area.

7.   Please do not throw cans or bottles in the lakes.

MISC.

1.   Loud and profuse language will not be tolerated.

 2.   No illegal drugs...If caught police will be called and you will be asked to leave with no refund.

3.   Respect the privacy of other campers.   DO NOT CUT ACROSS OTHER CAMPERS LOTS.

4.   Parents are responsible for their children destroying any camp property.

5.   No kids under the age of 18 are to be left at the campgrounds unattended.

6.   Anyone using clotheslines must take them down when not in use.

7.   Visitors must leave by 12:00AM

8.   You are responsible for your guests at all times.

9.   No trash is to be brought into the campgrounds from home.

10.  Absolutely no littering.   PLEASE help keep our camp clean.

11.  We recommend rolling up your awning before leaving the campgrounds.   It is not our responsibility for damages.

12.  LOTS MUST BE KEPT MOWED AND TIDY.   YOU WILL BE CHARGED $5.00 PER MOWING AND A CLEAN-UP FEE IF WE MUST MOW OR CLEAN YOUR LOT.

13.  Please leave the restrooms and showers as clean as you would like to find them.

14.  If you are having a problem with a fellow camper and cannot settle the matter, PLEASE notify the manager.

15.  If the pavilion is rented, please respect the group that has rented it for their activities.

16.  All trailers are to be parked out front and not on your site.   Anyone leaving a trailer for an extended period time must pay a storage fee of $2.00 per day.

17.  No construction on your lot with out approval of the manager.

18.  Due to fire regulations and health dept. regulations there must be a minimum of 15 foot clearance between campers and all must have hitches facing out.

19.  Do not use electrical pedestals or water lines as supports for your wood.

20. If you sell your camper it does not guarantee the lot goes with it as we have people waiting to get a seasonal spot.

21.  ALL PERMANENT CAMPERS MUST BE EAGLE MEMBERS.

These rules are designed to make your stay at the Eagles recreation park as enjoyable are possible.   Please respect these rules and the rights of your fellow camper.  Non compliance may result in termination of your camping privileges without a refund in your camping fees.

 The (OHIO STATE EAGLES RECREATION PARK)/Manager are not responsible for the damage, destruction, loss of private property, injury or loss of life.
